Kids Rooms
I love kids rooms.
I love stuff for kids rooms.
I love stuff for kids.
And WILL keep it for myself.
Like the dog and horse, that my son continuously asks about: "Whose IS this Mommy?"
Well....they're MINE!
I love photo's of kids rooms.
- From *Children's Rooms Stockholm* at Paumes. Man I want this book ;o)
- From *Elle Interiør* a new fave magazine.
I love kids rooms shops like Swedish barndesign, who sells such funny stuff, like a softie radio, that actually works.
Pacifiers with skulls. A banana holder. Super cool mobiles for the stroller.
Another cool shop is Marie's Butik, that I mentioned before. But look at this cute deer, with knobs for hanging your coat! Another deer at DWR. I'm super inspired by those shapy pillows. Others here and here.
I have tons of links for shops and designers, because at one point, I thought I was gonna open an on line shop with *Stuff For Kids*. Well you never know what'll happen. I'm still very passionate about it and check up on what's going on, so maybe one day I'll be a work-at-home-Mom. (Like being a stay-at-home-Mom isn't work?)
Ooohh.... I would sell classic and new Scandinavian design, like Nanna Ditzel's Toadstool and Flendsted Mobiles:
Cups and plates by Holly's:
Kaj Bojesen's Monkey and Rocking Horse:
And of course my own design....like my elephant cards, for hanging on the wall, looking *pretty*!
Maybe one day I would even have a *live* shop....like romp, genius jones or mini jake (at two jakes)?
- genius jones in Miami.
- romp in Brooklyn found through design*sponge.
As I said: "I LOVE kids stuff!"
(Got any great links? Let me have'em!)

So weird, I saw that same kid's decor book at the Japanese bookstore and almost bought it (but didn't because I already had the French one I posted about several weeks ago). I love kid's stuff too, I'm really having a great time searching my city for vintage kids things.

When my little one was small, I had the same obsessions. The photos on top are wonderful. Sometimes I wish I had another little child around, just so I could indulge again...
P.S. I am Danish too...

I love, love, love kids rooms too. I've always been a bit unfulfilled in that area because my own childrens' rooms never seem to "get there" decorative wise, bummer.
Thanks for coming by today!! No, those kites won't work, they are just for gazing at while they hang from the ceiling :)

hello,
your blog is really good, I'm a fan of vintage finds and children universe too
it seems that you don't know another great boutique for kids stuff in brooklyn: it's called POMME , in washington street, Dumbo.
I had an exhibition there in december, and now they are beginning activities that sound great.

I reconise the right kidroom is from Créme de la Créme-shop owner, Helle Högsbro. Her home seems to be in many magazines. I think I´ve seen it in at least three magazines. it is a fabolous home so I can understand why. I haven´t seen this version before, how I would loved to see the whole reportage. I´m never gonna be tired of that home.
