Green House Effect

Our Green House

Things are looking mighty fine in our green house right now. We got lots of flowers ready to plant outside and soil ready for "food plants".

We thought my funny looking old olive tree, was dead at one point. It looked dead. And one of our cats had scratched it up silly. I guess they don't give up that easy?

One of these days we will be planting tomatoes, cucumber and bell peppers. We had sooo many of them last year and they're sooo yummy. To top that off, we also have a variety of fruits around our garden: Strawberries, blackberries, gooseberries, raspberries and elder. We've also planted 2 tiny apple trees (last year), that we hope to see apples on this year.

And of course we have herbs.

Last year we had a huge bunny. Now, its old house looks a bit empty. We've been talking about getting a new smaller one. Well lets see about that...

Now I keep saying WE, but actually my sweet husband is the gardener here. (And the one talking about a new bunny.) I have nothing to do with the garden. At all. Maybe I should give him a hand this year. Yeah, that'd be nice. He has practically done the whole garden by himself and I probably don't say it often enough, but I really appreciate all his hard work and all the wonderful fruits and vegetables we reap. Wouldn't you?

Now take a guess where he went to work this past weekend? I'll give you a clue: I would be wearing a lot more clothes than THAT! Oh and he lived there for 2 years as a child. And Laila can't participate!

What a lovely garden! I have to get out into mine - not so many edibles as we have a lot of shade and San Francisco doesn't get warm enough for a lot of things. I have no idea about your husband, as far as where he was working, but he does look quite dashing in an arctic explorer sort of way!

I too do not garden. I did this last weekend for Earth Day. Earth Day is very special to our little Memphis. She loves the Earth. I water things, mow the lawn but I don't really like gardening. I think your green house is amazing and we just planted lettuce, tomatoes, and basil. Plus loads of flowers and a huckleberry bush. What does your Husband do?
I should read your older posts to try and find out. xoxo I would LOVE a bunny xo

I know, i know, i know.... Ask me, ask me, ask me! :o)

And by the way.. Can´t wait to eat all your lovely tomatoes this year! Mmmmm..

Im guessing Greenland? looks lovely and quiet wherever it is!

The garden looks like it will be very productive.

Well I would guess Thule from the landscape (something about the mountains in the back)... can't wait till I go back to Greenland for holiday this summer... *sigh*

By the way, thank you so much for wonderful inspiration... I hope you don't mind my attempting some inspired pieces ;-)

And another thing... I'm green with envy of your garden... uhmmm home-grown produce, I can almost taste it!

I would say Iceland. The gardening and greenhouse sound and look wonderful. I am going to be better about ours this summer. We did only peppers and tomatoes last year and I would like to cucumbers, onions, and potatoes maybe this year....that may be a bit ambitious since we have very little space to grow a garden that gets enough sun for it to florish.

Wow, I would guess Iceland maybe also. Can't be too sure from my perspective down here in Georgia, USA. Love your greenhouse, and love Denmark. I wish we could go back sometime soon. Where can I get one of your "doggies"?? dd

Alaska? Antartica? Greenland? looks like a wonderful place.

And you garden... I'm really envious.
