PARIS Mon Amour!

In the past week or so my husband and I have been dreaming about Paris. A scent would hit us downtown and we both instantly said: "Ahhh...Paris...." We've been discussing whether to bring the kids or not. I argue that we have promised to bring them the next time we'd go. My husband says it would be so nice to be alone and that we spent most of the time sitting around just absorbing the place.

Then today this came in the mail. Isn't it weird? It's a book about being romantic in Paris. A sign? I think so!

The book was sent to me from my sweet friend Sabine, who did the graphic work on it - and might I add: She did a wonderful job ;o) You see Sabine sends me these lovely gifts from time to time and she always sends something that is so me! I don't know what I did to deserve such kindness and thoughtfulness and I sure don't know how to reciprocate. I'll think of something one day, but until then THANK YOU SO MUCH SABINE!

Oh and of course I've been reading the book all day - when I could finally get it out of my husbands hands - and it is really good. Lots of great things to see and do. Very inspirring. Must go to Paris rather sooner than later!

Le Tag

Yes I've been tagged. By the lovely Fanja!

each person tagged gives seven random facts about themselves. those tagged need to write on their blog seven facts, as well as the rules of the game. you need to tag seven others and list their names on your blog. you have to leave those you plan on tagging a note in their comments so they know that they have been tagged and need to read your blog.

  1. I eat really fast
  2. I smoke. I stopped smoking Christmas 1999, when I got pregnant with my son. I started smoking again, when I stopped nursing my daughter. I figured it was my last baby.
  3. I dislike feet
  4. I continuously forget to shave my legs
  5. I love heels, but never wear or buy them. I feel to "dressed-up"
  6. I just lost 20 pounds. I need to loose another 10 to get down into my pre-babies weight
  7. I wish I spoke French

I want to share and tag my Top 7 French Blogs. They are all super creative and inspiring women. I have no idea what they are writing about, but I hope they will all join in and write in English. Pleeeeeease?

3 Already?

Img_1958

My sweet and wonderful daughter turned three Saturday. Can't believe its been three years already! Look how tired and shy she was, when she woke up to flags, Birthday wishes and songs! (And look at Mommas sleep marks on the shoulder!) We had a great day, with the house full of guests and lots of cake. My sweetie certainly enjoyed her Birthday with very pink presents and her tiny friends.

More Moomin More Corners

More Moomin craze from Paivi! She sent me 3 dishtowels - Little My included - and I just couldn't bare toweling of my dishes in such prettiness, so I framed one and put it on my wall.

We have been away since Friday, visiting my Mother-In-Law for a "Work Weekend" together with my husbands brother(+family) and sister(+family). We had a wonderful time hanging out, working, eating and sleeping together. The kids really enjoyed being with their cousins, especially since they don't get to see them that much, being scattered all over the country.

As for 10::10 Sunday, I made another giraffe similar to this one.

Going Down....

Button-Up

Img_0345

I thrifted this button-down shirt a little while back, because I liked the pattern. I just don't wear button-downs.

I decided to add some trim and a belt to spice it up. I like the result. More me. More Wardrobe Refashion.
