I think it all started with Andrea Larsson when she was based in the basement below creme de la creme a la edgar in Copenhagen. She made/makes everything where you can plaster on wallpaper which has now settled into the company Daisy. I'm talking about boxes. All kinds of boxes. Clad in any kind of paper and I see them everywhere.I bought some purple ones from Bungalow a while back, for a girlfriends birthday but since she has a huge wall of book cases, I decided she needed some more. So with a few old shoe boxes, cute paper from Rie Elise Larsen and spray glue in hand, I set out making her some new boxes. (I forgot to photograph the first one as I was so eager to give it to her.)
Inside each box I tucked in one of my cats. I had promised her two of them a long time ago and finally came around to actually making some. Close-up of front and back. Now they sit in her window and the boxes looks super-fine with the rest of her boxes.
Yeah! I made something with my hands. What a nice break from studying: Reading and typing. We're on 'Fall break' here so the kids and I putter about while Hubby's at work...
love....the box ,purple & the soft tree
