I've been dreaming of making something fun for this chair ever since I saw this chair (scroll down) in Paris four years ago. I've also been dreaming of an ottoman for it. I saw the one below in Boligmagasinet and imagine I will buy a cheap ottoman in IKEA perhaps and re-do it! Plans, plans, plans!!
More plans will be to make little covers for my sofa like the ones below so I won't have to wash the large sofa cover to often. It's a big hassle. Or maybe a whole new cover like this found via Stine.
Yesterday was such a gray day. My son camped out in front of the tv for the greater part of the day and my girl and I played board games and did our nails. We ended up in IKEA - on a Saturday! Don't do it! - and after hauling huge boxes (and messing up my newly done nails!) in and out of my car - where the trunk can't open! Why bother driving a station wagon then? - I spend my Saturday evening assembling furniture!
I've been working on a real fun project in school called 'The Flying Suitcase' where we've made a suitcase out of paper maché and attached several things and objects to symbolize various feelings, passages, stages etc. in life. We've documented the process via a Blog. Of course.
These days are kinda stressed because of the huge transformation in our lives. The kids have started in a new school, my school is suddenly far away and still a bit demanding, we're just the three of us and we're all good.
