I've been trying something new.
Making something simple.
Now. I don't know if you've noticed but usually I use a lot of color and the whole surface. This time I've tried to limit myself and I'm itching to do something more!
But no.
These 5 collages have been put away and I'm not allowed to touch them again.
It's been a fun little exercise and I love playing with texture, layers, stitches, paper, tape and what not.
I'm working on a collage made of tears.
I'm all out of canvases which is why I'm using this wrapping paper and have pulled out all my paper scraps. I think it will work nicely framed. A black frame perhaps. Speaking of frames. I'm thinking black will work the best for this cool print below by the awesome Lisa Congdon.
Remember the Nesting Blog post about my apartment?

And then I dyied mine.
Now I'm a red head.
I've had some time to mess around in my room.
