Like Mother Like Daughter

 
 
Copy catted her Mom...cardboard, stamps, paper cut, glue, paint...she loves it...just like her Mom.And just as nuts.

Friday we went to the hair dresser. Just us two girls. Sitting next to each other. Having our hair done. Such a blast. Mine turned out shorter. Hers was just trimmed.

And then I dyied mine.

Now I'm a red head.

For My Brother

He just picked it up today.

I can't wait to see it on their wall next to *Matisse* which I gave to my sister-in-law. 

Now my Mom has one, my girlfriend has one and my brother has one.

All 1x1 meters.

A close friend of mine gave me this Barbapapa "piggy bank" for me to save my pennies. It resembles the single mommy and the many talks we've had about money and life in general as single parents.

We are very good at sharing and helping each other out on a day to day basis.

We talk every day.

And meet at least once a week.

We've got each others backs.

We're family. A new kind of family perhaps. One we have chosen ourselves.

It's priceless.

And I couldn't do without.

I see/we see

Recently I got these über cool glasses from Moods of Norway and at the same time, my ex hubby had ordered a pair of glasses from Puma, which looks...hmm...allmost exactly the same!

Now our son needs glasses and of course he wants the same kind. He even drew himself wearing a pair:

Oh...he also draws naked guys. One day he showed one of the drawings to a girl from his class. She hit him in his head with a pencil case.

My kids love my sister. We all went to the zoo last week - me, the kids, my Dad and my sister - and had the greatest day. Tomorrow, my sister will leave for India for 2 1/2 months and we will miss her terribly...

At this point, the kids were preeeety tired of Mini Sis and I.

This past Sunday, I went to take some photographs, at my step moms new spa and wellness center, Kapellangaarden, which she will use for the website soon. The place is absolutely stunning, with loads of little details, all of which are my dads credit. He's an amazing house renovator - so good at finding and keeping the spirit of the house. They live just down the street from the place, in the heart of my old city Køge.

I took shots of some of the treatments - my stepsister is modeling - and some shots to show a little of the spirit. They offer all kinds of treatments like massage, sauna, steam bath - all the yummy stuff - and the whole spa area is situated in a 13. century cellar!

Very special.

I had to bring the kids and of course I had to photograph my son and his stuffy too!

Both kids ended up in the bubble bath - now who wouldn't want to have a granddad and step grandma with a place like this?

My sweet boy turned 8 this past weekend. Eight!

We all slept over at ex husbands house, so we could wake up together in the morning and have breakfast and presents.

My son said that the birthday mornings are the greatest, because while he sleeps, I will hang small flags and large flags, inside and out the house and a big bunch of presents will be ready for him, at the dining table.

Later we had a party in the garden, with our wonderful friends and family.

My son had dressed up real nice and combed his hair.
