This is my little corner of the living/dining room. Right now I have a few old handmade cards made by Shannon aka Aunty Cookie on display. As I've had every Christmas since 2006! I have my homemade mobile hanging from the ceiling. Lisa's book Art inc is on the table with lots of little Post it's. (Psssst!: It's very inspiring and informative.) And I have my new prints! Just laying there. For me to look at. I really love how they turned out. I've worked with a local printer on them and we've gone back and forth because when we started out I wasn't to happy. But now we're on the same page. They know what I want and the final product is GOOD! If I might say so myself. It all started with me being inspired by Kaktus København and their cactus installations. They're awesome and I made 2 collages inspired by those. I posted a photo of them on Instagram where I tagged Kaktus København and they liked it. They contacted me to see if they could sell them in their shop and we decided that I have prints made and now I just shipped of my first order to a shop! Yay! They both come in sizes A4 and A3.
I've been thinking about having prints made for years and years. I actually did have some made a while back. (Where the heck is the rest of them?). I'm just really indecisive. And a bit of a procrastinator. So a huge thank you to (Maja from) Kaktus København for helping me doing this!
Actually before this even happened I had reached out to some of my old blog friends and other friends to have them help me decide (I'm so so indecisive...) which of my abstract paintings I should have made into prints. Below are snippets of the ones I'm working on now with the printers. I'm trying these out in a variety of sizes: A5, A3 and 50x70 cm (19,5"x27,5"). So these might just come to my shop real soon!
