10::10

I've decided to do a "little" project. The plan is to do 10 projects in 10 weeks. I figured I could manage a project a week? I want to get back in crafting gear, so to speak, so I came up with this idea. The catch is that I have to use what I have, except for times when I run out of thread or doggie eyes.

I've made a list of things that I want to make and each week I will pick a new subject. Here it is in random order:

1. Elephant Card
2. Giraffe Card
3. Bird Card
4. Elephant Softie
5. Giraffe Softie
6. Cat Softie
7. Dino Softie
8. Knitted Dog
9. *New* Softie
10. Pillow

I hope to post a finished project every Sunday and to mark the end of my 10::10 project, in the beginning of June, I will set up a little shop where I will sell the goods. Sounds interesting? 'Course I hope to do more than ONE thing a week, but to keep my spirit high, ONE is my goal.

June also marks the beginning of my daughters new life - Kindergarten life that is - and my new life. What ever that'll be. Maybe I should aim for 10 projects a week, so I can make a living out of it and pay for my Sweeties Kindergarten?

Here's some W.I.P.: A knitted snake for my daughter and stitchery for a pillow. The "Four-Blossom Flower" is from this book, that I borrowed at the library. Lots of inspiration and "how-to's" for a beginner like me....

They've taken quite a bit of time to get here, but finally they're done. I hope to add a little once in a while to the shop, to keep my creative energy flowing. I do have a lot of Christmas plans for stocking fillers and decorations - I loooove Christmas!

Otto's Dog

I made this little Bull terrier for Otto when he was born - I'm real happy with it.

I'm just finishing up 3 more knitted dogs, that'll end up for sale in my Etsy Shop, since they didn't make it to the Plush You II show! Sadly the date was pushed, while I was sitting in the world of *Non Internet* - but I'm psyched to see pics from the show etc. ;o)

The SHOP is UP!

Yay....my shop finally has some ITEMS!

This is the last week, where my husband has to work evenings, weekends and double shifts. It's been super hard -  mostly because of my daughter: She sleeps soooo late at night, that I have no *alone-time*. Well I DID manage to do a little crafting, as you can see in my etsy shop - which I decided on using. I've also had time for a little knitting and I hope to have those ready soon - I'm just waiting on some "eyes" and stuffing, that I ordered. But here's a peak ;o)

I feel SO left out, because I haven't had time for blogging - I miss BLOGLAND - and next week will be crap too, because then my husband is going to Russia!!!

Sneak Peak Boutique

Within the next few weeks, I will be opening a little shop, either in etsy or here!

I will sell Funny Ladies, animal cards and knitted dogs. I also have a small stash of vintage finds to sell.

Later on I will add some pillows and stuffed animals made of vintage fabrics!

I have also joined Plush You II, which is later this year and I'm REALLY exited about it! Hope to make *tons* of stuffies, before I have to submit my 3 for the show, so I'm in real good shape ;o)

Oh....another thing I'm *doing* is Blair's *Computer Free Days*! Man I sucked this Friday!!! I turned my computer on at 11:45, after a whole day without it! Well I'm still in this week anyway - I HAVE to do better!
